Sliver(Screen) Mario.

Mario’s last trip to Hollywood left more than a bad taste in the mouths of his fans & Nintendo alike, that taste appears to have subsided though as Nintendo confirmed a feature length Mario movie is indeed in the works.

Handled by Illumination, the studio behind the Despicable Me franchise, Mario will this time hit the big screen in animated form as opposed to live action, & creator Shigeru Miyamoto will act as the the film’s co-producer. Universal Pictures will be responsible for the distributed of the film worldwide however beyond that, Mario the movie is just too early in development to reveal more but Nintendo expect that to change in the near future.
