Fire Emblem.

The Fire Emblem franchise is now firmly one of Nintendo’s big hitters, so unsurprisingly the Mario Factory have dedicated a Direct event to the franchise revealing three new Emblem titles for the 3DS, mobile devices and the Switch. Of the three titles announced Fire Emblem Heroes received the most attention unsurprisingly as it’s the first time the series will make an appearance on Android and IOS devices offering players the chance to take on a number of missions with a wealth of characters from the series’ past, a past Intelligent Systems will be looking towards for Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia, a remake of the NES’s 1982 Fire Emblem Gaiden coming to the 3DS this May. When & what form the forthcoming Switch Emblem will take however remains something Nintendo weren’t willing to reveal just yet however this direct made one thing very clear, the Fire Emblem franchise is a very important one to Nintendo these days.

    1. Its doing very well apparently and last I heard its Nintendo is most impressed with Heroes. I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of Fire Emblem on mobile.
