Power To The People.

One of the biggest issues facing modern day gaming is without question games actually working as they should at launch, in fact this issue has become so troublesome of late, sales of Rocksteady’s Batman Arkham Knight were actually suspended on the PC while the developer fixed the game’s many problems and soon such drastic steps may become common place, in the UK at least, where consumer rights have changed as of today and now any game sold which doesn’t, “work as it should” can be returned up to 30 days after purchase for a full refund. Had such laws been in place a little earlier the likes of Assassin’s Creed: Unity and Halo: The Master Chief Collection, two titles which suffered many problems at launch would have been prime candidates for refunds and many of this year’s biggest titles (I’m looking at you Fallout) could suffer the same face.
Or developers could simply make games that work, just a thought.

  1. This is good news although I suspect many people would be hesitant to go through all the hassle of getting a refund in the hope that a future patch fixes things.

    1. I game would have to be very broken for me to personally bother looking for a refund but there are people out there a lot less forgiving than me.
