When Arc System Works announces a new 2D fighting game people sit up and listen, when Arc System Works announces a new 2D fighting game featuring over 100 characters from the Dragon Ball Z universe people jump out of their chairs and go crazy, well permission to go crazy has been granted, Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden is on the way.
Set for a summer release in Japan (TBC everywhere else) exclusively on the 3DS, Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden will see your favourite members of the Z team and a lot more besides facing of against one an other in both traditional 1 on 1 and team battles.
Little else to say about Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden right now but stay tuned to us and on the game’s official page and we’re bound to see a lot more of the game before too long.

  1. A good 2D Dragon Ball game would be awesome. With such a large roster however I have to wonder how deep the combat will be.

    1. I think the 100 man roster is a bit of creative marketing on Arc System Works part, I have since read in other places that Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden is to feature both playable and support (read non playable) characters so perhaps that 100 man roster will be divided between the two camps. Either way I have confidence Arc System Works will pull this off.
