Resident Evil Revelations 2 Detailed.

Over the past couple of weeks Capcom have been drip feeding us bits of information here and there surrounding Resident Evil Revelations 2, but this week the Mega Man maker decided to spill one of the games biggest beans by revealing Revelations 2 will be released episodically. Oh yes you read that right, Resident Evil Revelations 2 is going to be released in 4 chapters over as many weeks, each costing $5.99 or you if your feeling flush you could go with $24.99 and bag yourself a Complete Season Pass with some, as yet unidentified additional content.
Those suffering from a touch of digital phobia will also be catered for as Capcom have insisted they will definitely going to bring Resident Evil Revelations 2 to retail as well but bar the price point of $39.99 and the platforms (for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC) they wouldn’t yet be drawn on anything else, including exactly when that release will happen.
If any of that interests you or even if it doesn’t, why not check out the game’s first real trailer if only to see what Claire Redfield looks like now.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Detailed.

  1. It’s interesting to see how grungy the game looks. The environments and enemies strongly resemble The Evil Within to me. I wonder if the old company is taking cues from their former superstar.

    1. I thought the exact same thing the moment I saw Revelations 2 and it disappointed me no end. Resident Evil has always been at it’s best when it carves its own path and at it’s worst when it tries to do what others are already doing, I just wish Capcom would realize that.

    1. Apparently each episode will feature a “cliff hanger ending” that will have the player begging to see the next, well that’s what Capcom are aiming for at least. Personally I’ll be holding off on any purchase until the disk release.
