Phantasy Star Online 2.

It’s already been two years since the sequel to the Dreamcast classic Phantasy Star Online, Phantasy Star Online 2, was released in Japan on the PC and PS Vita and yet Western gamers haven’t seen hide nor hair or the MMO in that time, leading many to assume we never will. Perhaps we shouldn’t give up hope just yet though as Sega, answering a tweet on Friday said this.
“PSO2 is still delayed. SEGA is currently working on bringing PSO2 to the West and will update as soon as we know more.”
So there you have it, Phantasy Star Online 2 is still in the pipeline, though when it’ll arrive not even Sega seems to know.

    1. I’d be amazed if we ever see PSO 2 but I know a lot of Vita owners who had this right at the top of their, to buy list when they picked up the Vita and are still hopeful they’ll get the chance to someday. Personally I never really got into Phantasy Star Online back on the Dreamcast or GameCube (I own it on both) so this wasn’t really on my radar.
