The Tokyo Game Show may not have even started yet but that hasn’t stopped Sony from making a slew of new announcements and reveals, the biggest of which being a crossover between Square Enix and Koei Tecmo which will see the Dragon Quest series fused with the Dynasty Warriors to create, Dragon Quest Heroes.
A game. Much like Hyrule Warriors, Dragon Quest Heroes will see a cast of famous Dragon Quest characters facing off against wave after wave of classic Dragon Quest enemies on both the PS3 and PS4 next year. Another game coming to both the PS3 and PS4 next year is the long awaited Persona 5, and yes I said PS4 because Persona 5 is now coming to both Sony’s home consoles however beyond that we remain largely in the dark in regards to Atlus’ most anticipated title, as the publisher continues to drip feed us information. A little like the approach Nippon Ichi Software has taken with the PS4 exclusive Disgaea 5 which, although revealed, has yet to be actually shown but at least we know it’s coming again in 2015. Last but by no means least Sony also revealed that From Software’s Bloodborne is on track for a February 5th release in Japan and while no Western date was issued a new trailer for the game was released. 2015 is going to be one busy year.
Very busy year indeed for all the console makers. Let’s see how these exclusive can help the platforms.
We are very excited to learn about Persona 5. It’s about time we got to see it on something other than the PS2 lol
Hands down Persona 5 is my most anticipated game in a long time and I just can’t wait to see where Katsura Hashino and his team take this game.
Totally! The humor and unique personality of the Persona games have been so great, so it’s gonna be interesting to see how they keep that while building on the whole world 🙂
