Resident Evil Revelations 2.

The original Resident Evil Revelations was well received by both fans and critics so it’s pretty safe to assume we’ll be treated to a sequel sooner or later however, if a screenshot of the game’s apparent box art pulled from an Xbox server turns out to be legit, we might be treated to a Resident Evil Revelations 2 very, very soon. Unsurprisingly Capcom have refused to comment on the existence or not of Resident Evil Revelations 2 yet, but reports are already swirling that Capcom will confirm shortly that Revelations 2 is indeed coming to the PS3, PS4, 360 and Xbox One. Sorry 3DS and Wii U fans.

Resident Evil Revelations 2.

  1. It’s kind of strange to me that they’re continuing Revelations as some sort of spin-off series. There’s really nothing that differentiates it from the mainline series except for the fact that it was originally intended for a portable platform. It even has the same co-op/AI partner driven gameplay. Why not just call it Resident Evil 7?

    1. I think it’s probably a strategy by Capcom to release more Resident Evil games in a shorter period of time. Making Revelations its own series means, in theory at least we could see Resident Evil HD Remake, Revelations 2 and perhaps even Resident Evil 7 all released next year and that would make Capcom some real money.
