Final Fantasy Type-0 Finally Heading West.

E3 2014

It was released back on the PSP in 2011 and since then Final Fantasy fans have been pleading with Square Enix to bring Type-0 to the West, some going as far as to translate the game themselves. Such dedication it seems has not gone unnoticed by Square Enix either as the RPG giants have confirmed Final Fantasy Type-0 is at last getting released here in West re-dubbed Final Fantasy Type-0 HD for the PS4 and Xbox One (release date to be confirmed). Here’s how Hajime Tabata, the game’s director broke the news.
“You guys have never given up on it, raising your voices in an effort to see this title come to North America and Europe. Well, I’m here to tell you that it’s coming and it’s going to be in HD.”

    1. I have no idea why Square Enix are skipping the Vita as you’d think the handheld would be a perfect fit but apparently not. A lot of people are blaming the shun on Sony for turning the Vita into an expensive PS4 controller which the third parties just aren’t taking seriously anymore and you know what, they might be right.

    2. I also heard it was a great game in the opinion of the Japanese fans who played it originally (A commented mentioned that in my blog). I worry that it might outshine the upcoming FF XV if that was the case.

      1. That would be just like Lightning Returns getting eclipsed by Bravely Default. I hope it happens so Square get the hint of what games fans really want to play.
