Mortal Kombat X.


While we’re still waiting for Capcom to treat us to a glimpse of a next gen Street Fighter their old rivals NetherRealm Studios have officially announced Mortal Kombat X, the latest entire in the long running fighting game series.
“Fuelled by next-gen technology, Mortal Kombat X combines unparalleled, cinematic presentation with dynamic gameplay to create an unprecedented Kombat experience,” reads a press release supplied by Warner Bros. alongside a short trailer which shows eternal foes Sub-Zero and Scorpion locking horns once again. A vague release date of 2015 was also included in the reveal as was the intended platforms Mortal Kombat X will be making its way to next year and surprise, surprise there’s no Wii U listing in sight. Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC owners meanwhile will be pleased to see Warner Bros. treating them a little better.
