Wii Sports Club.

Nintendo are quickly becoming synonymous with head scratching decisions and yesterday they demonstrated this yet again with the reveal of Wii Sports Club, an eShop HD re-release of Wii Sports. Yes indeed you read it right, from the 7th of November Wii U owners will be able to download two of the original Wii Sports titles, Tennis and Bowling (Boxing, Baseball and Golf will come later) for the price of £8.99, €9.99 or $9.99 each, or £1.79, €1.99 or $1.99 if you’d prefer to rent the games for 24 hours.
What you’ll get for your money regardless of which package you go for, should you be so inclined is the original Wii Sports title with added online play, Miiverse functionality, HD visuals and refined controls through the use of Wii Motion Plus. The only question now is who do Nintendo think will spend (in total) £45.95 or $45.95 on 5 mini games which 7 years ago came free with the Wii? Head scratching indeed.
