3DS And Wii U Accounts Coming Together?


When Nintendo launched both the 3DS and Wii U the company pledged to double their efforts in and around the area of online, and while many an improvement has certainly been made on a number of levels Nintendo are still falling short. One  area in particular has come in for criticism of late and that’s a lack of linking between 3DS and Wii U accounts, but Dan Adelman Nintendo of America’s head of business development has told Destructoid that Nintendo are well aware of the concerns and, while he refused to go into specifics, Mr. Adelman did confirm that the company is looking into ways of improving the service.
“We’ve heard that feedback (regarding accounts) many times from both inside and outside the company.  It’s definitely something that we’re very much aware of. All development for the infrastructure really happens out of Japan, so we’ve kind of communicated this need in the market, and they’re very much aware of it and working towards really just always improving the eShop,”
