Android powered consoles and media-streaming devices like the Ouya are set to flood the electronics market towards the end of this year and well into the next, but things could really be about to heat up between these hybrid smart boxes if rumours are to be believed that Google themselves will enter the market with one of their own. Dubbed the Nexus Q Google’s set top box home console will primarily play games but other media related features will also be included. Along side the Nexus Q, apparently due out by year’s end, Google will also be launching an Android powered wristwatch, another gadget set to do big business in 2014.
