Vita Mega Pack.

It would appear that Sony have finally realized the PS Vita is struggling and are going to do something about it with the release of a new bundle dubbed the Mega Pack. Consisting of a PS Vita console (Wi-Fi), 8GB memory card and 10 games: LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, WipeOut 2048, MotorStorm RC, Little Deviants, Frobisher Says! (with Fun Pack DLC), Ecolibrium (with Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum game packs), Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters, Lemmings, Hungry Giraffe, The HD Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character.
The Vita Mega Pack will be made available in France, Spain, Portugal, Israel, Austria, Switzerland, Germany and the UK by the 26th of June and feature a price point of €249.99 or £229.99.
Whether this move will be enough to turn the ailing handheld around remains to be seen however this does nothing for the lack of games Vita owners have been cursed with, and no amount of new bundles can remedy that.

  1. Yeahhhh, none of those games are enticing me to buy a Vita and I’ll probably avoid one altogether until I see how they plan on intergrating it in to the PS4. At least if you’re a PS Plus subber, you can pick up some good games for free (last I checked you can get Uncharted and Gravity Rush), but sometimes I forget the Vita even exists. Nintendo has a stranglehold on the portable market.

  2. It’s true this bundle won’t set the world alight but at least it’s a sign that Sony can see there’s a problem with the Vita. Hopefully in the run up to Christmas we’ll see an even better deal.
