EA Making Wii U Games After All?

The fuss EA have kicked up about the Wii U of late has been well documented, and at one point it even looked like we may never see another EA game on Nintendo’s home console (a spokesman for the company named Jeff Brown even went as far as to state that EA had no games in development for the Wii U) things have however suddenly changed as the publisher’s chief financial officer, Blake Jorgensen explained. “You know, I think Nintendo’s business was more an extension of their last console. We are building titles for the Nintendo console, but not anywhere near as many as we are for PS or Xbox. I think what the consumer will find is a lot more powerful gameplay with the new boxes that are coming out, and a lot of excitement, but it’ll remain to be seen as to the services associated with those as to how consumers decide which direction they might want to go.”
Although EA would not confirmed which titles are now heading Nintendo’s way, it’s unlikely to be any of EA’s main franchises (FIFA, Battlefield, Mass Effect etc.) but instead some of the new Star Wars games they recently started work on.
