Nintendo Caught Red Handed.

A federal Jury in New York have found Nintendo guilty of patent infringement in regards to the glasses-free 3D technology found in the 3DS. Seijiro Tomita, a former employee of Sony had claimed that back in 2003 he demoed a prototype of Glasses-free 3D for Nintendo but the Japanese giant showed little to no interest in Tomita’s work at the time. A few years later however a number of the inventor’s innovations were discovered in the 3DS. Nintendo will now have to compensate Mr. Tomita to the tune of 30.2 million dollars.
