Going, Going Gone.

The bankrupted THQ have begun selling off their assets. So far Sega have agreed to purchase Relic Entertainment (creators of Company of Heroes and the Warhammer 40,000 series of games), Koch Media (publisher of Dead Island, Risen, Catherine etc.) have purchased Volition (Saints Row developer) along with the Metro series, Crytek agreed to buy Homefront, Take 2 has snapped up Turtle Rock Studios’ mysterious new IP Evolve and are rumoured to be interested in the WWE license, and Ubisoft have agreed to purchase THQ Montreal and South Park The Stick of Truth. Despite huge interest a couple of big name titles have still to be sold including the Darksiders series. This however could be about to change as Platinum Games boss Atsushi Inaba has tweeted he might be interested in picking it up.
“Oh man in THQ’s big sale it looks like nobody’s bought Darksiders…I’d love to buy that (if it was cheap).”
